Rocky Mountain
Adventures (RMA) has been running mountain biking holidays in
the Colorado Rockies, Moab and Fruita since 1997. We've spent
all these years finding and riding the very best trails that
this scenic part of America has to offer.
We're a UK based company that is owned and run by people who
love mountain biking with an absolute passion. When the snow
starts melting in the Rockies in May, we start itching to get
out on our bikes and return to some of the best singletrack on
the planet. During the summer months we're based in the
high-alpine resort of Breckenridge, Colorado and in the
off-season we can be found riding in our local stomping grounds,
the Peak District and the Downs.
We're fully ATOL bonded with the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL
number 6742). So if you choose to let us book your flights for
you, then you can have the peace of mind that your booking is
protected and secure.
All of our Colorado based staff are involved in the entire
holiday experience from start to finish. This means that our
guests get the benefit of our expertise and support both on and
off the trails. As the new owner/managers of the company, we run
the operations hands-on, riding all the trails and seeing the
holidays first hand. This means that we know what makes us
bikers tick, we see the riders perspective, and we know what it
takes to deliver a first class mountain biking holiday.

Martin Delves,
Head Guide
Martin
used to represent Great Britain at International XC
mountain bike events, won the Grundig World Cup in 1998
and was crowned Southern Champion in the same year. So
as you can imagine, his riding skills are up there with
the best. His bike mechanics aren't bad either as he
used to be Deputy Manager at Liphook Cycles in
Hampshire. |

Carl Patton, Guide
Carl has
represented New Zealand in the World XC and Downhill
Championships. Now he prefers to take part in the
gruelling multiday events such as the Transalp Challenge
and La Ruta across Costa Rica. Carl now owns and runs
his own mountain bike holiday company offering awesome
itineraries in New Zealand. |

Kath Sergeant, Director & Guide
As an
ex-PE teacher and top 10 GB triathlete, Kath has seen
the light and swapped skinny tyres for fat tyres and
traded stroppy teenagers for happy holidayers. Trying to
get Kath to sit still is a challenge as she's an avid
mountain biker, rock climber and skier. As one of the
owner/managers of RMA she won't accept forgotten kit as
an excuse for missing a ride! |

Sophie Lambert, Director & Guide
As an
ex-England youth hockey player, Sophie has exchanged the
grazed knees from the astroturf for the all over cuts and
bruises from the trails! However she finds herself
having to ride more responsibly as one of the new
owner/managers of RMA. She's thrilled to have left her nerdy IT desk behind to pursue her love of
mountain biking, skiing and climbing. |

Grahame Baker, Guide
Grahame
has completed several long distance tours (Lands End to
John o' Groats - TWICE the sucker!, Cape Wrath to
Portsmouth, around Europe and across America). Grahame
has been mountain biking since 1990, and leading rides
since 1993. He's a veteran of a staggering 15 visits to
Moab and this is his 2nd season with RMA. Grahame's
choice of rides to lead can often be influenced by beer
and brownies. |
